Shopping for a Good Cause: The Junior League Summit Thrift Store
My cousin and I have found a newfound love for thrifting. It's an eco-friendly way to find pre-loved statement pieces. Naturally, last time we met up, we had to visit a local thrift store - ever since that escapade, I've been searching for ones nearby me. However, I was rather delighted to rediscover one right under my nose. It's one of those places you know about, but once you walk in, you just CAN'T believe you haven't visited. Say hello to the Junior League Summit Thrift Shop, quaintly housed in Summit at 37 Deforest Avenue.
The Zeal for Summit’s Z-Rolls Ice Cream
Where is the flair in ice cream? Where is the pizzazz? If you’re like me and feel the urge to ridicule an inanimate food based on its appearance, ridicule no more. Ice cream is no longer boring. How did I make this discovery? By walking into Z-Rolls in Summit NJ, at 452 Springfield Avenue. This workspace makes a very special type of ice cream - one rolled into ribbon-like shapes! The concoction is made by mixing any add-ins (such as Oreo pieces) into the base, chopping and spreading the mix onto a cold metal slate, and finally rolling the ice cream into individual pieces. Delicious and definitely fun!

Summit, NJ’s The Co-Co is an exceptional co-working space – providing a light-filled, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed open workspace, as well as a strong and diverse community.
Local Highlight: The Summit Sharks
Every summer, the Summit Family Aquatic Center offers the members of the pool (ages 5-18) the chance to be a part of this amazing public swim team! As a devoted member of the Summit Sharks myself, I was given the opportunity to speak with other members of the team and ask them about why they love the Sharks so much.
