Polycarp Flowers – a small, successful, and incredibly professional local floral design business located in Summit, NJ – is led by a kind, seasoned and competent florist. I highly recommend paying Polycarp Flowers a visit!

Forget ice cream and frozen yogurt— these desserts, while delicious, are overused. It’s time to try something new! I present to you: Bing-su, or Korean shaved ice. Here’s how to make it!
Both modern and cozy, this bright and airy condo on the top floor of its building is a home waiting to be discovered, currently on the market. Commuter’s delight and newly-renovated!

Magic Grill (located in Garwood, NJ) is a Mongolian BBQ place. It’s also not a traditional restaurant. You don’t order a menu item and get served – instead, you sit down, and are asked “What soup? Dumplings?” Then, the magic happens.

My cousin and I have found a newfound love for thrifting. It's an eco-friendly way to find pre-loved statement pieces. Naturally, last time we met up, we had to visit a local thrift store - ever since that escapade, I've been searching for ones nearby me. However, I was rather delighted to rediscover one right under my nose. It's one of those places you know about, but once you walk in, you just CAN'T believe you haven't visited. Say hello to the Junior League Summit Thrift Shop, quaintly housed in Summit at 37 Deforest Avenue.
Where is the flair in ice cream? Where is the pizzazz? If you’re like me and feel the urge to ridicule an inanimate food based on its appearance, ridicule no more. Ice cream is no longer boring. How did I make this discovery? By walking into Z-Rolls in Summit NJ, at 452 Springfield Avenue. This workspace makes a very special type of ice cream - one rolled into ribbon-like shapes! The concoction is made by mixing any add-ins (such as Oreo pieces) into the base, chopping and spreading the mix onto a cold metal slate, and finally rolling the ice cream into individual pieces. Delicious and definitely fun!
The first municipality in the state to recognize gay marriage, South Orange is accepting and welcoming towards anyone lucky enough to stop by. Additionally, they offer many different restaurants that satisfy a multitude of culinary tastes! I stopped by three different eateries seen as historical and cultural staples of the township - Bunny’s, Toro Loco, and Town Hall Deli.
Many students are feeling strained as they struggle to meet academic standards. Thankfully, Summit is home to three incredible tutoring centers dedicated to helping pupils thrive - especially in times like these.

Who doesn't love a light and bright space? A fresh coat of paint is always a good idea when listing your home. Picking the color is a bit more challenging, especially if you choose white. Here’s a list of my favorite whites!
Now, I've tried a lot of food in LA. Countless boba shops, infinite acai places, and really just all the trending places that you see TikTokers rave about. After trying all these sweet snacks, I found myself going back to Wushiland Boba and Oakberry Acai.

As a self-proclaimed tea-girl, the news of Kung Fu Tea’s arrival in Summit left me excited. Like the Millburn location, Summit’s Kung Fu Tea has a spacious seating area great for friends, families, and more.
When school ends, it’s tempting to hibernate until September. How do you maintain an academic mindset over the long break, while enjoying the rest and relaxation you so deserve? Here’s a list of tips I use to keep myself stimulated and motivated over the summer!

I have a lot of issues with “green” juices, detox teas, and electrolyte drinks - the biggest one being their taste. 8Greens, though, caught me by surprise. Light, tasty, and nutritious, 8Greens is the new way to freshen your system. Waking up and taking a sip makes me feel like #ThatGirl, even if it takes significantly less effort to prepare than a kale smoothie.
