The Best of Brigantine, NJ

This July, I had the pleasure of spending a week in the amazing city of Brigantine, New Jersey. Known for its beautiful beaches and picture-perfect downtown area, there are loads of things to see and do in Brigantine that are sure to give anyone the perfect vacation experience. So, I decided to highlight some of my favorite parts of Brigantine so that you know what to look out for if you ever decide to make the trip yourself!

Soulberri Coffee + Smoothies

(1106 W Brigantine Ave, Brigantine, NJ 08203)

Soulberri is one of the best places in Brigantine to pick up a smoothie, coffee or a delicious soul bowl. From their epic unicorn smoothies or their mouth-watering Nice Cream bowls (made from a frozen blend of bananas, coconut milk and vanilla), there’s something at Soulberri for pretty much anyone. My personal favorite item is the Peanut Butter Barrel Nice Cream Bowl because it satisfies my insatiable need for large quantities of peanut butter and banana. (Pro-tip: Add a spoonful of Nutella to any bowl to make it twice as delicious!). Even better? Soulberri is the creator of their homemade “Magic Shell” toppings that can be added to any smoothie bowl! These “shells” (which come in peanut butter, chocolate or coconut) are the perfect way to add texture to your bowl and they even melt in your mouth as soon as you eat them! So, the next time you're in Brigantine, NJ, definitely give Soulberri a visit!

Yianni’s Cafe

Do you love a large variety of breakfast foods and delicious drinks? How about amazing service and friendly faces? If the answer to any of those questions was yes, then you’ll absolutely love Yianni’s Cafe in Brigantine! Not only is their breakfast menu served all day, but the sheer quantity of breakfast options that are served is a feat in and of itself. In fact, the menu includes, but is not limited to: pancakes, french toast, waffles, several different egg benedicts, multiple omelettes, bagel platters, fresh smoothies, all sorts of breakfast sandwiches, and a bunch of original house specialties. So yeah, picking just one thing to order is pretty impossible, especially when everything sounds so good. Not to mention the portions are BIG. And I mean, like, BIG big. So if you’re looking to have a super filling brunch, this place is basically perfect. I highly recommend checking Yianni’s out- trust me, you won’t regret it.

Brigantine Beach

Come on, did you really think I was going to talk about Brigantine, New Jersey, a BEACH city, without actually mentioning the beach? The shore is clean, beautiful, and, surprisingly, not super crowded. I know, I didn’t think it was possible either until I saw it with my own two eyes. The sand is fine and soft, the waves are big enough to be exciting but not scary, and there are several lifeguards on duty to keep an eye on swimmers. Brigantine Beach is perfect for any type of beach goer, whether you're a beach reader, a spikeball player, or an intense bodyboarder. Personally, I think the best part of the beach is going right at sunrise or sunset and taking a long walk by the water. There’s something magical about just being there and enjoying the beauty of nature as the sun comes up or goes down as you feel the gentle breeze of the waves and the silky sand beneath your bare feet. If you have to pick just one thing to do in Brigantine, go to the beach. It’s really as simple as that.

And there you have it! Some of the best places in Brigantine, New Jersey. I sincerely hope that everyone who can makes a stop at Brigantine, even if it’s just for a day. It’s one of the most charming cities I’ve ever been to, and there’s truly something for everyone.
