Meet the Lash Lounge!
The Lash Lounge is a charming space with an equally as charming staff. Classy, luxurious, and inviting, this eyelash salon and its staff will make you feel welcome and beautiful, holding your hand every step of the way if you’re new to eyelash enhancements. Unfortunately, having opened just before the pandemic forced us all indoors, this place isn’t as well-known among Summit citizens as it should be. But, The Lash Lounge has the potential to become a cornerstone of our Summit lifestyle, as a business and as a community hub.
First: If you’re worried about coming into contact with the virus here, don’t be. The salon is extremely sanitary. The staff takes pride in keeping the space safe for their customers, meticulously disinfecting every surface and tool before and after a client’s visit. Walking into the salon, the first thing I noticed was how good and clean the air smelled! The minimalistic main area of the salon, pictured to the right, is immaculate.
Actually, the pandemic may be the most appropriate time to go get your lashes done! With all the mask-wearing, the first thing people notice about someone is their eyes. With eyelash enhancements, you roll out of bed with perfect, voluminous lashes, no mascara or fake lashes needed!
Inderjit, the Lounge’s manager, is extremely invested in our Summit community.
Though he lives in Warren, he knew he wanted to work in Summit even before applying for his position. Loving our atmosphere, he frequents the downtown area for relaxing strolls with his family.
In fact, he hopes to make The Lash Lounge a community hub. The salon itself is open as an event space. You can use it for anything: wine-tastings, small gatherings, book clubs, anything! (Of course, this may have to wait until after the pandemic has passed. Safety is priority.)
The inside is beautifully designed. With tones of purple, grey, and white, this space looks sleek and gorgeous. It’s perfect for any occasion: from a formal event, to a wine-tasting, to a casual book club venue for a few friends.

Kiki, the assistant manager, is passionate about the beauty industry. She also loves the empowering, all-female work environment of The Lash Lounge. (Inder prefers managing from afar, so the salon is usually only filled with women.) Unfortunately, when we were there we were only able to speak with one of the two stylists who currently work there – But if the one stylist we spoke to is any indication as to the character of the other, she’s also an absolutely wonderful person. Sabrina decided to work at the The Lash Lounge because she loves helping people feel beautiful; enhancing someone’s lashes, though such a small change, can have a huge impact on the way someone feels. She’s a local: As a teen, she attended Summit High School.
And, every staff member’s lashes look super, giving me more confidence in the quality of the services they provide!
Their business philosophy? The customer must walk away feeling fantastic. There’s nothing they wouldn’t do to make sure you’re completely satisfied with their service: whether that means offering a refund and reversing the lift if you don’t like it, or offering another style. They promise that, no matter what it takes, you will love your new look.

Let’s say you got a membership at our local Lash Lounge and you realize a few appointments later that you don’t really click with any of the stylists (which is extremely unlikely, since they’re all wonderful people). Any membership or appointment credits you’ve bought with the Summit Lash Lounge is automatically applicable to their sister location in Livingston! Between both locations, you’re bound to find your stylist soulmate.
The Lash Lounge will leave you looking and feeling beautiful! This business is a must-try – you will not regret it. Don’t like your lashes? The stylists will stop at nothing to make sure you leave the salon feeling beautiful, even if that means giving you a full refund and scheduling for an appointment to reverse the lash extensions or lift.
Their products also come in helpful and affordable little bundles. The kits with the Queen and Princess logo are for maintaining eyelash extensions. They include cleanser, sealant, an eyelash brush, and makeup remover. Kits with the Duchess logo are for maintaining lash lifts, and include a cleanser, mascara, and sealant. The bundle saves you 20% on the actual cost of the products! Maintaining lashes has never been so easy.
Unfortunately, the Lash Lounge, like many other businesses, has been hit hard by the pandemic. They were a fairly new business when the pandemic hit and forced them to close as soon as they opened. Small business owners pour their lives, souls, and savings into their businesses, and they need our support in these difficult times.
